There are various ways to travel comfortably without making an overnight stop on a neighboring island.

As an alternative to the ferry from Los Christianos Tenerife, you can in principle head for almost all of the Canary Islands and then take the island hopper (via Tenerife North or Gran Canaria) to Hierro.
